Our Missionary Structure
Reach North America is a missionary society ordered under apostolic oversight and governed according to its Constitution and Canons. We are bishop-led and council-ruled, following the historic and missionary pattern of the Church, where episcopal authority is exercised in communion and common consent within the Missional Council . Our leaders serve together to guard the apostolic faith, shepherd Christ’s servants, and send the Church beyond parish walls into the harvest.
Jonathan G. Smith
Missionary Bishop
The Rt. Rev. Dr. Jonathan G. Smith serves as a Missionary Bishop in Reach North America and as a founding leader of the Society. He also serves as President of Aidan University. His ministry is devoted to forming Gospel-centered, creedal, and Spirit-empowered leaders who carry the Kingdom of God into every sphere of life. Drawing from the missionary spirit of the Celtic tradition, he works to cultivate missionary priests, abbeys, and missional communities across North America.
As Missionary Bishop, Bishop Jonathan serves as chief shepherd and apostolic overseer within a Reach Missio. He guards the apostolic faith, ordains and commissions ministers, and ensures that the doctrine and discipline of the Society are faithfully maintained. His authority is exercised in communion with fellow bishops and presbyters, and in accountability to the Missional Council. As primus inter pares, first among equals, he presides in charity and coordination, serving as a brother among brothers for the sake of unity and mission.

Stephen Higgins
Missionary Archdeacon
The Ven. Stephen Higgins serves as a Missionary Archdeacon in Reach North America. He is committed to strengthening clergy, organizing emerging works, and cultivating healthy missional structures that advance the Gospel with clarity and order. With pastoral steadiness and administrative wisdom, he works to develop leaders who embody the Society’s ethos and serve faithfully in their appointed fields.
As Missionary Archdeacon, Archdeacon Higgins is a senior presbyter entrusted with regional and administrative oversight. He authorizes and supports commissioned ministers, convenes Canon Missioners, and fosters collaboration among missional communities. Serving under episcopal leadership and in accountability to the Missional Council, he ensures that the Society’s mission advances with unity, discipline, and Gospel integrity.

Dana Craft
Canon Missioner, Latin America
The Rev. Dana Craft serves as Canon Missioner for Latin America within Reach North America. Alongside his wife, Damaris, he has devoted his life to Gospel proclamation, church planting, and leadership development throughout Guatemala and the surrounding region. His ministry among the poor, the overlooked, and emerging leaders reflects a deep commitment to courageous mission and Kingdom multiplication.
As Canon Missioner, Fr. Dana is appointed to establish and strengthen Reach’s presence in Latin America. He launches and oversees missional initiatives, equips indigenous leaders, and fosters partnerships that advance the Gospel in local and regional contexts. Serving in communion with the Missionary Archdeacon and under the oversight of the Missionary Bishop, he embodies the Society’s call to faithful, Spirit-empowered mission beyond traditional parish structures.
